PROPRIETARY LEASE A written lease in a cooperative apartment building, between the owner-corporation and the tenant-stockholder, in which the tenant is given the right to occupy a particular unit. GOVERNMENT SURVEY A system of land description in which large blocks of land are divided into tracts bounded by imaginary lines conforming to the true meridian. CLOSING COSTS Costs for services that must be performed before your loan can be initiated. Examples include title fees, recording fees, appraisal fee, credit report fee, pest inspection, attorney's fees, and surveying fees. |
